Our Second Saturday events are a monthly celebration for the residents of Midtown consisting of art and community, featuring a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy. These events typically include book readings by local authors, the Neighborhood Postcard Project, live performances by local artists, face painting, local artists, local organizations, and more. What is the Neighborhood Postcard Project? The Neighborhood Postcard Project, which fosters community connection through storytelling exchange. Residents fill out a postcard with a positive personal story of their community and it is mailed to community members outside Midtown area in the same city to create a stronger connection between Midtown's residents and surrounding communities. Whether you're a fan of literature, art, or just looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, these events have something for everyone. So, mark your calendars and come join us for a day of creativity, connection, and fun at Second Saturday! Second Saturdays is a collaborative program between SJCA & the Atlanticare Foundation.
