Are you a South Jersey artist seeking financial support to pursue your artistic goals? Well, the 2024 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship guidelines and application are now available. Join us on Tuesday, June 20th at 2 PM for our Virtual Connection Session, where we are excited to host our guest speakers Program Director of Fellowships from the MidAtlantic Arts FoundationJackie Domenus and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts


This virtual session aims to provide valuable technical assistance to South Jersey artists who are interested in applying for the 2024 Individual Artist Fellowships. These fellowships, awarded by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

During the session, Jackie & Stephanie will guide participants through the fellowship application process, provide insights, and answer any questions that artists may have about the fellowship & application process.


Key Information about the 2024 Individual Artist Fellowship:


Application Deadline: July 13, 2023, 5:00 PM EST
NJ State Council on the Arts Application Assistance Webinars: June 14 and June 29
Fellowship Categories: Film/Video, Digital/Electronic, Interdisciplinary, Painting, Prose, Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts
Award Range: Previous fellowships have ranged from $4,000 to $32,000, based on funding availability
Furthermore, artists from Southern New Jersey and Warren County have an opportunity to receive additional funding. The State Arts Council recognizes the need to improve representation from these regions and will consider offering higher awards, when possible, to fellows from Atlantic, Burlington, Cumberland, Cape May, Camden, Gloucester, Ocean, Salem, or Warren Counties.

Guidelines are available in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for a wider audience.
